Here are some essentials to help you finish strong.
1) Commit to God’s Word & prayer.
If you want to finish strong...you must make daily time in the Word a priority. Get a hard copy of the Bible…get some pens and read &write.
Psalm 119:11
[11] I have stored up your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you. (ESV)
Talk to God about what He’s saying to you in the Word. Ask Him about your marriage, kids, job, relationships.…sin you struggle with. Talk to Him about anything/everything.
2) Commit to being involved in church.
Gideon is not really living in community…no one’s holding him accountable or telling him what to do…no one is encouraging him.
Being involved isn’t convenience; it’s commitment.
Being involved in church doesn’t mean coming in late & standing around watching people sing some songs checking your phone during the sermon & rushing to your car to beat the traffic. That’s called a spectator sport. Involvement means you’re not a spectator, you’re a participator.
3) Live obediently
Be committed to doing God’s Word in marriage, relationships, money, etc.
Don’t allow your theological compromise result in moral confusion.
